Her approach with each child is unique and she has the ability to adapt for your child’s individual success. Dr. Meggan is a diplomate in the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Informed parents realize the advantages of their children receiving care from pediatric specialists with board certification and membership in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Certified Dental Assistant
I am a Hudsonville native with a passion for children and dentistry. I graduated from the dental assisting program at Lake Michigan College. My love for kids started early on, going on mission trips to work in orphanages and working in bible camps.
It wasn’t until I worked at ChildTime learning center when I discovered my true calling in life, which is to enjoy a fruitful career working with children. I feel so blessed to be able to combine two passions and be a part of the team at Growing Smiles. I look forward to working with your family to create the most excellent dental experience for your kids.
In my free time, I enjoy being active with my husband Joe, our baby boy Easton and our yellow lab, Nelli. My hobbies are spending time with my family, boating, cooking, reading and traveling!
Registered Dental Assistant
I am a West Michigan native and have a passion for pediatric dentistry! I graduated from GRCC and hold a Registered Dental Assisting license with the State of Michigan.
I am on my second decade of experience in Pediatric Dentistry! What I love about working with children is the hands on experience of helping a child overcome dental anxieties as well as teaching children and families how to achieve optimal oral health. Outside of the office, I enjoy being an active wife and mother to our two boys, spending quality time with family and friends, watching football and visiting the beach. I feel privileged to be a part of the Growing Smiles team and look forward to providing you and your family with an excellent dental experience.
As unusual as it may seem, I always loved going to the dentist as a child, which eventually lead me down the path of becoming a Dental Assistant. I felt so blessed to join Dr. Meggan's team in my first year out of assisting school and could not imagine a better or more positive work environment. The combination of working so closely with children, and the incredible opportunity to learn and grow in the dental field makes this career the perfect fit for me. I am a kid at heart and I love to connect with all of my patients on a friend to friend basis- and of course they are always keeping me on my toes, so it makes every day fun and exciting!
I was born and raised in a small town in the middle of the Mitten. My free time is spent adventuring this wonderful state we live in - hiking, kayaking and biking - with my longtime boyfriend, Alex. We recently became a family of three when we welcomed our little kitten Olive into our family. She brings us so much joy and we cannot wait to see what the future has in store for us!
I’m a 2003 graduate from the GRCC dental assisting program where I obtained my certificate and an Associate’s Degree. While I have worked in various aspects of the dental fields, I’ve found that working with children has been such a highlight. What I love most is seeing the smile on the kids and parents faces of the end results; it’s priceless. The confidence we can bring out of the children in regards to their dental visits or their new smile is very rewarding to be a part of and the relationships we build here are lasting. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband of ten years and our twin girls and our youngest son. I enjoy running, biking, kayaking, traveling, spending time at the lake, seeing my friends and helping out at my children’s elementary.
Registered Dental Hygienist
A graduate of Kellogg Community College, dental hygiene is my passion and working in a pediatric office has always been my dream. The conversations & laughs shared with my patients are priceless to me & I often find myself laughing at things continuously for days later. I love my Growing Smiles team and look forward to coming to work every day. There is truly no career I could ever want more.
I am happily married to my husband, Kasey, who is also my very best friend. We have one Golden Retriever fur baby, named Louie, who we love to spoil and take every where with us and we also have a son, named Grayson. When I am not at work, I love spending my weekends at our camper in Ludington with my family, photography and cheering on my little cousins at their sporting events! I look forward to meeting your child and creating a lasting relationship!

I am a 1986 Graduate of Ferris State University with an Associate’s Degree in Allied Health Sciences. I am a member of the National, Michigan and local Dental Hygiene Associations where I have held several positions on the local level and have been practicing dental hygiene for over 30 years.
My passion for dentistry shows with the quality of care I give to my patients daily. My goal is to help the children achieve a healthy smile by enjoying their dental visits in a comfortable safe environment. I’m looking forward to meeting and working with you and your child.
Outside of the office, I am married and have three beautiful daughters and one granddaughter. I am involved in my church and in my free time I enjoy shopping (of course), reading, outdoor activities and watching various sports.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Learning at a young age that dental hygiene was my passion, I pursued a degree at Ferris State University and graduated in 2012. It wasn’t until my husband and I welcomed our daughter into the world that I found my passion for children. Combining my love for patient care and children is more than I could have ever asked for. I am excited to be a part of the Growing Smiles team and enjoy providing top notch care while creating a comfortable environment for your child.
In my free time I enjoy being outdoors with my family. During the summer months we enjoy being by the pool or boating at our family cottage. Through the long winter months we love heading north to snowboard.
Originally from Centerville, Ohio I now live in Grand Rapids with my husband and our twin sons. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends kayaking, camping or watching my sons play football. I look forward to meeting you and child.
I have an extensive background working with accounts and enjoy helping parents navigate insurance questions and all other aspects of the investment they are making in their child’s health. Being a parent myself, I know the stresses that can sometimes come along with seeking the best dental care for your child. That is why I love working at Growing Smiles. The kind, compassionate, and helpful atmosphere within not only helps a child that might be nervous, but it also puts the parents mind at ease knowing that their family will be taken care of at every turn.
I was born and raised in Grand Rapids and began my career in dentistry as a dental assistant in 2010. Over the years my interests grew from the clinical to the business side of dentistry. I really enjoy working with families; from your initial consultation, understanding the ins and outs of your insurance coverage to scheduling treatment for your child I will help guide you through the experience.
I discovered my love for connecting with kids when I became a church youth group leader after high school and into my late 20s; I spent time as a camp counselor and traveled every summer with the students on a mission trip. Outside of work I enjoy most of my free time with my very loving and energetic one year old son; he keeps me on my toes! I love all kinds of music, cooking for others, camping, kayaking, and wood working.
Working with Dr. Meggan at Growing Smiles has been an enormous blessing in my life; I couldn’t ask to spend every day with a better team! It isn’t work when you love what you do.
I was born and raised in Grand Rapids. I am a Western Michigan alumnus in health administration. I have always loved being around kids which is how I knew I wanted to work with them. At Growing Smiles I may be the one to greet you with a warm welcoming, help you with your scheduling needs, and help direct you with any other questions you may have.
Outside of work, I enjoy going on adventures with my husband, spending time at our family cottage, boating and being with friends and family among other favorites. Growing Smiles has been the perfect place to call “work” and has given me the opportunity to work with children and their families. I look forward to meeting you and your child and providing a great dental experience.
I was raised in Newaygo, but made Grand Rapids my home after moving down here for College. At a young age, I had my heart set on becoming a Dentist someday, but that all changed when I switched my major from Dental Hygiene at GRCC and transferred to GVSU for Hospitality and Tourism Management. After working in the Hospitality Industry for seven years, I thought it would be fun to go back to my roots and give the dental world another chance, and I’m so glad I did.
Since starting at Growing Smiles, Dr. Meggan has allowed me to grow within the practice, develop new skills, and work with such an amazing team. In this setting though, my favorite part is having the opportunity to build relationships with not only the team I work with, but the children and parents who walk into our office each day.
Aside from work, I enjoy spending time with my Husband, our Goldendoodle Tucker, being with friends and family, and taking advantage of the outdoors. I am very inspired when it comes to health and wellness, so I dedicate time to being a health and wellness coach for those looking to help better their lifestyle. When I have downtime, I like to relax scrolling through Pinterest or binge watching Modern Family.
